Half plate ambrotype, likely a later copy, featuring a group of 5 men and woman, posed on either side of a large dog, sitting on a stool. (Rather soft focus, slightly tinged green/blue in color, chemical deterioration to edges, light spotting.) Housed in a fully separated pressed paper case (split at spine, surface wear).

The subject featured here are likely family members, as an older man and woman sit to the viewer's left of the dog, while a less mature man and woman sit to the right, with a teenaged young man on the far right. The dog's head is quite blurred from movement during the original exposure.
